President Trump has admitted that the real reason he hates the press is that whilst he was at college ‘a journalist stole my girlfriend’. Trump made the comments during an interview with respected pro-Trump media group Infowars

Trump explained that whilst he was studying at the University of Pennsylvania for an economics degree in 1968 his ‘childhood sweetheart’ ran off with a local journalist. He added that he was ‘totally gutted’ and had hated ‘crooked lying cheating journalists’ ever since. Trump admitted that he knew relatively little about the journalist in question, but had been informed that he had ‘really enormous hands’ and was of ‘part Mexican descent’.

A senior psychiatrist has confirmed to The Spark that the incident in question could explain Trump’s loathing of journalists. However he was keen to emphasise that this wasn’t necessarily the case, and that Trump’s obsessive dislike might be linked instead to the fact that he’s ‘completely flipping insane’.

We tried to contact an American journalist to comment on our story, but unfortunately the guards at Guantanamo Bay prison camp informed us that none were available.
