Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven has responded to President Trump’s incorrect claim that a terrorist incident recently took place in his country by claiming that New York was ‘actually nuked last night’. Loftven made the comments to a rally of his supporters in the Swedish city of Gothenburg.

The Prime Minister claimed that what’s happening in America is ‘so bad, like you wouldn’t believe’ and attacked the ‘crooked politically correct media’ for failing to report the nuclear attack. He claimed that ‘millions of people were killed’ but that ‘other than Infowars’ the story was being ‘completely ignored by the mainstream press’. He went on to blame the attack on ‘bad hombres’ who were getting into America via the country’s ‘totally open borders’.

Lofven announced that the Swedish Government was offering its American counterpart ‘every assistance’ during ‘this difficult time’. He added that Sweden would observe a minutes silence for the victims of the attack at 12pm Swedish time on Wednesday, and that ABBA would reform to produce a ‘special commemorative album’.

Swedish Government sources, speaking off the record, have admitted that Swedish intelligence hadn’t confirmed that New York had been nuked, and speculated that Lofven ‘might have been watching right-wing cable TV again’.
